Bible Verses About Afflictions Made Beneficial in Exercising Our Patience

(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
