The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

(A Psalm of David.) Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.
